LION KEVIN BOB DYER RESEVE

Public BBQ

Lion Kevin Bob Dyer Reserve delivers the perfect blend of sport and family relaxation in Hillcrest. The modern playground immediately caught my attention – well-maintained equipment that'll keep the under-14 crowd thoroughly entertained while parents settle into the shaded seating areas beneath towering gum trees. The basketball and tennis courts add proper sporting options, while the expansive grassed area proved ideal for a kick of footy or shooting hoops. What impressed me most was the thoughtful layout: BBQ facilities and shelter positioned perfectly for keeping an eye on children at play. The abundant birdlife creates a lovely backdrop for picnics, and the undercover areas ensure comfort regardless of weather. It's one of those reserves that genuinely works for everyone – kids burn energy, adults actually relax, and the whole family leaves satisfied.
